The invisible map of Italy - The phenotypes




According anthropologists, most common subrace in Italy is the Dinarid mediterranean, Dinaricized mediterraneans constitutes about the 50% of the entire population.
Dinarics (25%) are more common in the North East, and Alpinids (15%) in the North West.
West Mediterraneans (5%) are usually found in Sardinia island, while South Mediterraneans (5%) are quite common in Sicily, Campania and Calabria. 
Norics (4%) and Nordids (1%) can be found especially in the north, in particular in Trentino Alto Adige and Friuli Venezia Giulia.
